RIP

If you haven't watched the doc "I'll Be Me" yet, watch it. It's incredible, and incredibly sad.

He was quite a talent. There are some youtube videos of him just doing some guitar work and it is phenomenal. He was very much under appreciated by the rock world for his contributions and abilities. he was in the early 1960's one of the most sought after session musicians in the business. Even filled in for Brian Wilson for the Beach Boys during their 1964 tour

His relationship with Tanya Tucker was epic though

Love, love this song. Brings me back to my childhood in the 70's every time I hear it.

For whatever reason, one of the clearest memories of my childhood is me standing in my grandparents' house in Lafayette, in the doorway between the kitchen and the dining room, my mother and grandmother making lunch, with Wichita Lineman on the radio. I was probably about 10.

So long, Glen. We sure enjoyed having you here.

Yep, and the last song he recorded (and co-wrote) early in his Alzheimer's sums it all up. Great, sad song.
