Can't post links at work but,

Misery and Gin-Merle Haggard.

Admittedly, I'm drinking bourbon while listening, but put that on repeat please.

Steve Earle - My Old Friend The Blues

Just when every ray of hope was gone
I should have known that you would come along
I can't believe I ever doubted you
My old friend the blues
Another lonely night, a nameless town
If sleep don't take me first, you'll come around
'Cause I know I can always count on you
My old friend the blues

Lovers leave and friends will let you down
But you're the only sure thing that I've found
No matter what I do I'll never lose
My old friend the blues

Just let me hide my weary heart in you
My old friend the blues

Well, I super appreciate your OP request/(unofficial requirement) to post only one favorite song (any post, any genre, any song). The posters that post 117 of their favorite songs/artists (name the agenda) in any single post (not this thread) tend to kill any/many/most threads. Just my 2 cents/just my opinion.

I hope posters read the above. It's just my opinion, but it's so annoying to see a poster provide 35 "favorites" of "anything" in only a single post.

I have done a maximum of about 7 "favorites" in a single post in the past, but I felt at those times I was pressured to be in a "max artists/songs" mode just to keep up with posters in a certain, particular thread in which I did this exorbitant "favorite" posting.

I say this because I am also guilty of violating what I consider to be a multiple favorite rule. Multiple favorites should be limited or very limited (favorite actually means only one). If anyone posts 20 favorites, how can all of these be "your favorite"??? Check out the definition of "favorite"...

Unless, of course, if the OP asks you to post your "20 favorites", haha...

I really do prefer to see only one "favorite" posted at a time...

OK, I'm down off my high horse.

Per your criteria:

Kid Rock & Sheryl Crow - Picture

I do have 10 other drinking alone songs I like (at least) from:

100+ Drinking Songs

However, per your (OP's) criteria I'll refrain from posting them. See, that's easy. Thanks, Gus.
