Pitfalls of constant guitar shopping when you're really not ready. Update. It's back?

Find what you want, price you want, color you want, and previous owner made upgrades you aren't paying extra for.
It mocks me.
Pick guard would need to go IMO. I just like that blue.
First World Problems.
Why would it be back?
Bumped and edited. It returns AGAIN to mock me. It's has gone from Virginia to NY and is now in the Birmingham store. They dropped it $100 and it apparently sold again.

I love that color too. I just bought a new tele in a similar color. Are those EMG pickups on it? They look alot like the EMG David Gilmour pickups I have on one of my Strats.

Sensor Lace? That's part of the selling point and what "mocks" me. Those pickups (I think are a 150-200 buck upgrade. And they review well. And I'd have to pay someone to install them.
I just need to stop shopping til I have saved my pennies and gift cards. Then stalk shop until another one pops up.

Also for future reference the saddles and nut are also upgrades. But are there any drawbacks to thiose type pick ups and nuts.
Meaning a Floyd Rose is an upgrade, but something that doesn't interest me as to style of music and you always read they are a bastard to keep in tune if you don't know what you are doing. ..... I do not.

I'm a bass player but just mechanically speaking any tremelo bridge is designed to move so tuning won't be as solid as a fixed bridge. I don't understand the real need for a tremelo anyway. Bend those strings sissy boy.
And the nut shouldn't have a negative impact.

Damn, I would play the heck out of that guitar

Last one I purchased was a les paul custom. Emg is overrated, Seymour Duncan makes a better active.

Always thought I wanted a Floyd Rose until I got an Ibanez with an Edge II... Thing is a pain in the arse to change strings and keep in tune. As much I love to dive bomb and stuff I will never get another guitar with one.
Too bad I have a builder in the process that was outfitted for a Floyd Rose... I guess that's why it's been sitting in my closet in pieces waiting for completion for the past 10 years haha

I have a Dean dixie rebel and I hate the FR unless there is a tech available that can deal with it.

Daphne blue is my weakness. It's the color of my strat.

Is that Daphne blue or seafoam green?

Sure is. That color defines "whatever tickle your pickle". Show me a car or a shirt in that color and I would recoil in horror. But a Strat? Yep.
Sea foam I believe is just a faded version of that really.
Th next guitar is gonna be a MIM strat. I don't like black or brown or classic burst. That blue is choice number one. Red is in the running too.

If it's the one you want, you should get it now, because I guarantee you, when you start looking for one like that, they will all frickin disappear.
You can probably get it for 300 bucks cash,or guitar center will finance it for you.
Also, that pickguard will look a lot better in person, I have that same pattern on one of my tellies. It's a deep wine color guitar, and that pick guard looks great with it.

Nah man. Dave Ramsey Plan disagrees. Dave Plan says I should sell the guitars I have and construct my own out of wood scraps. I will compromise. Wait and pay down some debt and save pennies.

Does Dave Ramsey play frickin guitar? If not, then tell him to kiss your arse.
Seriously, I salute you on trying to do better financially, and being responsible, but,if you have a healthy passion, you need to feed it a little bit.In the long run,you can't afford not to.
Edit to add: Never sell guitars or guns, hang on to them, you won't be sorry.

Stay away from this place... I went with a friend (I don't play), but I even wanted to buy a bunch of stuff...

Bump.
Why would this thing come back? It's mocking me. Or is it a POS that got returned?
Trying hard to be financially intelligent.

Gone again. Emailed the store and was told the condition was "poor" with a crappy repaint job and other "issues"?
Keep shopping.
