Yes. Vedder's ego was as big as ever.

They actually played till 11:15 and if you think him talking about BP paying for coastal restoration is political garbage than so be it.

Well marijuana should be legal so I have no problem with that.

Is it not legal here? Pretty sure I'll fail a screen if tested from second hand only.

It may have been the alcohol. Sure, I certainly didn't want to hear Even Flow, Jeremy, or Daughter.

Huh? Why? Bc it was their more main stream releases? People will complain about anything I guess. Pearl Jam fans are lucky they're even playing live shows at there age.

That set was great. Only thing I would add was Dissident.

He has been political FOREVER. You just got old! So did I. But the band and Vedder being liberal and vocal is nothing new or has little to do with ego? They did it when they were starting and when they got huge and now that they are rock royalty.

I will be seeing them in Dallas the 15th and I am sure he will make a George Bush reference or gun reference that wont't go over too well. But who cares? May even play Bushleaguer? Can't help himself.

Yea - I could've done without the politics from vedder but it was a good set generally.

Was front row for NIN last night and thoroughly enjoyed that

You should go back a little bit - I was responding to the guy who said he didn't like the set. Maybe he didn't like hearing Present Tense, etc.

If you know Pearl Jam's music well and have also seen them play many, many times, it's only natural to want to hear them play some deeper cuts.

In essence - I've already seen them play Even Flow probably 8 times, so if you don't mind, I think I'll keep my preference for something else.

My god, I took acid for the first time and NIN blew me away. They put on such a good persona and stick to it. I felt like I was in a horror movie.

How are they getting away with just 4 stages? I can remember at least 6 or 7 back in 08

Even with 4 stages, you can still hear music from another one. They truly don't know what they are doing.

First year at the new grounds I'll cut them a break this year. I really didn't notice it. But I did think the stage setup was poorly thought out.

Moon Taxi covered NIN's "Closer", which was not played last night, and Beats Antique attempted to cover Daft Punk's "Get Lucky".
