I am well-verses in mainstream Beatles but would like to delve deeper into their music. What are some of your favorite “non-mainstream” songs of theirs?

I do like “hide you love away” which I don’t consider too mainstream

You may want to add Beatles to your title.

I’ll say I’m Only Sleeping, if that qualifies.

ETA: crap didn’t realize this is a beatles thread. I’ll leave it up in case someone wants to hear a catchy tune

quote:

"I, Me, Mine"

i will die on the hill that "let it be" is the better late career album than abbey road, and the songs on it are some of the very best the beatles ever wrote or recorded.

in that vein, my vote is TWO OF US

The Beatles - "Rain"

Supposedly this is Ringo's favorite Beatles track

I'll pick a Lennon song AND a Macca song--both from the White Album. Probably because it's one of the 10-12 albums that got me through my four years at LSU. (and no, I didn't go to college in the 60s/70s).
