Meh!!!

Back in those days I liked Anthrax more than either one of them. To me they were more unique.

'Fistful of Metal'(1984) - 'Persistence of Time'(1990) were all great albums, with 'State of Euphoria'(1988) being the best. Only things they did I didn't care for were their 2 forays into rap metal; 'I'm the Man' and whatever the name of the song was they did with Public Enemy.

I wish he had stayed in metallica, and I wish that Cliff Burton had lived.

Truth. Metallica has at least taken risks and has varied their sound drastically at times.

Aside from their gradual progression towards more mainstream speed metal, as opposed to thrash, Megadeth's only major change in sound came on Risk.

Megadeth > Metallica total catalogue

There is no band in metal that has had a better run of albums than Metallica's first four records.

Not Black Sabbath. Not Iron Maiden. Not Judas Priest. Not Death. Not Slayer. No one.

People have wrote them off because they gave up their extreme sound, but history cannot erase the perfection of the music produced from Kill 'Em All to ...And Justice For All.

Megadeth keeps it true to thrash roots. Holy Wars is one of the best thrash songs of all time

I agree with you. "Holy Wars" is definitely in my top 25 favorite metal songs of any genre.

What four consecutive Iron Maiden albums compete? What four consecutive Judas Priest Albums compete? Black Sabbath comes the closest but I think Vol. 4 is one of their most overrated records.

Tend to agree, but...any 4 Sabbath consecutive albums negates your argument.(Ozzy or Dio albums, not Tony Martin)

Ride The Lightning is one of my favorite albums, I would put it up against any metal album, but Master of Puppets has a very slight dropoff, and then And Justice for All is the most overrated metal album of all time.

Wow man. I dont get this. AJFA is a masterpiece and could very well be considered one of the greatest metal albums ever in a tie with RTL. Every single song on that album stands up on it's own.
