Two Cow Garage is still around? I saw them at the old Chelsea's and they had to be told to turn it down (I think they eventually pulled the plug on them)

OP, if you have not yet done so... You must check out Uncle Tupelo... They are the pioneers of this genre and their first four records are the first four chapters in the alt. country bible... There have been none that have done it better and there will not be any doing it better in the future...

yes, and they fricking rock harder than they ever have right now

one of the best rock and roll bands playing music at the current moment

i've seen them several times, the last being at the manship theatre with damion suomi and the minor prophets... killed it for sure
