Lil Dicky: Professional Rapper
Posted by NotoriousFSU on 8/2/15 at 12:59 pm14
I'm curious if the board has any thoughts about this album? I found a few songs that were alright, but he's no Dylon. Maybe it'll grow on me more but for now it's pretty forgettable.

There was a three page thread on it when it came out. And the consensus was it was a very good album. Dicky is ridiculously talented and he's attacking the game in a very obvious and opposite way than anybody before him. He just flat out shows off in Bruh. And then he contrasts the whole album and his whole style with Molly, which is a very good track and shows that Dicky's diverse and not just a one trick pony. And then he added the outro to Lemme Freak which was genius and hilarious. And Pillow Talk was suck a weird track but I laughed my arse off all the way through the 10 minute rap skit. And the first track with Snoop Dogg was a perfect opening track for the album and it let's people who have never heard Dicky know exactly who he is. I give it a 9.5/10 and will definetly be picking up a physical copy.

You're a little late to the party. But IMO this is one of the best albums in a LONG time. Very fresh concept and not to mention top notch verses. LD killed it, I really want to see him live. I've heard from a good friend his live shows are great. He does Power Point presentations on stage while he raps.

He's the man and this album is great. He's finally getting the pub and respect he deserves. He is begging for someone to battle with in protagonist. Can't wait to see who steps up and see LD really shine.
