Agreed that is why I threw the Amazon reviews up there. That's the people talking not some journalist.

Amazon reviews are notoriously gamed with businesses and corporations paying writers to post up bogus, effusive praise for their products, fyi

I forget which track

pretty similar vibe in this thread: lots of circle jerking. a militant naysayer here and there.

I really wish they put "look out for detox" on one of the albums. Badass beat that seems to be only on YouTube.

But where is it rated on IMDB's top 250?

I wish "Westside right on time" was on the album.

I love that song, but it doesn't really fit the album IMO

I would surely like to hear the song that he did with Lady Gaga even though I don't really like her

I also want to add that I had chills for the whole song "Sing About Me". Never had that happen before

Everyone here should read this blog post that explains the album and what it's about. I have even more respect after reading this and listening again.

the whole label, "Top Dawg Ent", is hot. I've been jamming Kendrick Lamar and Ab Soul religiously. Guys like this are literally saving the rap game.

Why does rap music have to be commercialized?
