Jeff Buckley - where to start?

Self-admittedly, I know almost nothing about Jeff Buckley other than he drowned in Memphis. Can someone give me a concise introduction and a few songs or one album that you feel is the best place to start. The music doesn't necessarily have to be his singles or hits, just something you would personally recommend to another.

Grace is widely regarded as one of the best albums of that decade. Start there.

Grace was his only proper record...

everything else is either comps are unfinished work released posthumously..
