Just a PSA. Available for download and streaming as well.

Great songwriter, give it a try.

Immediately liked 'children of children' at first listen. Some of the other ones are going to have to grow on me a bit.

Listened to it twice this morning, I prefer Southeastern. Favorite so far is the title track

I really dig it. I can't get 24 frames out of my head.

Been listening on npr constantly, downloaded first thing this morning......Palmetto Rose owns me (maybe cause my wife is from charleston and we spent a lot of time there). Also love if it takes a lifetime, Hudson commodore, children, speed trap, something more than free, and 24 frames. I really think this album as a whole is better than southeastern.

Am I missing something with Hudson Commodore? It's listed as explicit lyrics but I haven't caught why yet.

Children of Children and The Life You Chose are my standouts thus far.

It's not as gut wrenching of an album as Southeastern. Still good stuff though.

On first listen I was slightly disappointed, but after really sitting with it I've listened to it front to back many times now and it's a fantastic album

Bump this to the top. I just got it today for some reason I've been out the loop. I really like the title track, 24 frames and Hudson commodore. The life that you chose kinda reminds me of some 90s better than Ezra or something it's growing on me.

It's a very good album but there is no earthly reason for it to be a double LP. It's ten damn songs, put it on one disc. Side B is literally two songs. Come on, man.

Sorry, pet peeve.

If It Takes a Lifetime is probably my favorite song on the album

I just got turned on to Isbell a few weeks ago and I have to concur, his new album is really damn good.

it's VERY different to southeastern. I see some people saying it's a continuation of southeastern and I have no idea as to what they're listening to. I think there's just repeating someone they heard say that.

They aren't comparable IMO, outside of the albums being by the same artist.
