My favorites are 80s/90s alt rock bands ie The Replacements, Dinosaur Jr., Sonic Youth, the Cure, the Feelies etc.
More recent favorites are All American Rejects, the Killers, TV on the Radio, Guster, Decemberists, spoon...

Any suggestions??

Do yourself a favor and check out some Clutch. You'll be glad you did.

One of their earliest:
Clutch

And their latest:
Earth Rocker

And SOOO much incredible stuff in between.

Based on your interests in the replacements and the killers, you absolutely should check out the work of The Gaslight Anthem. Particularly, the 59 sound. Their work from 59 sound to Handwritten is pretty great. Sink or Swim and Get Hurt can be pretty polarizing though. I have a feeling you'll love The 59 Sound and American Slang. Give it a few listens.

Twin Peaks is great. I know the drummer's sister pretty well. They're a cool group of kids
