Paul Rodgers is a great songwriter and an exceptional vocalist. Did he go balls deep in Jann Werner’s High School sweetheart?

It’s crazy, and he served Oh Atlanta on a platter to Alison Krauss. He was lead singer for Free and King Crimson as well., Just listen to Run With The Pack and Bad Co all the way through.

It's a "Hall of Fame" full of participation trophies. I don't understand why anyone gives a frick about who is or is not in it at this point.

They are the biggest snub imo, along with Jethro Tull!

Based on what they have accomplished, Iron Maiden is the biggest snub of all bands who haven't gotten in yet. Bad Company should be in as well but the NYC/Jan Wenner/Rolling Stone/Cocktail party circuit looks down as them like the elitists they are.

Both have had a much larger and long-lasting impact on music than Bad Company

but neither are "Rock"

call it the "Music Hall of Fame" if you want to include all genres.

First Album: COMPLETE BANGER / CLASSIC

Second Album: BANGER (still recommend)

Third Album: Meh

All that said, Bad Company belongs. The R&R HoF is garbage, a scam, a mockery. Has ZERO credibility.

No Randy Bachman or BTO.

No Three Dog Night. No Boston. No Foreigner. Etal etal.

(BUT Dolly? Beastie Boys? Harry Belafonte? Irving Azoff? Joan Baez? DJ Kool Herc? Foofighters? Janet Jackson?? Missy Elliot?? NWA?? Sex Pistols??

I could see the argument for Bad Company, but Boston and Foreigner were the Nickelback of their day.

Please provide the reference for this. I cannot find any mention of Paul Rodgers ever singing/playing with KC.

he didn’t
he also didn’t write “oh atlanta”

he did sing with Taylor and May as queen+rodgers and he did turn down the chance to replace jim morrison with the doors. And obviously, the firm and the law (and free)

No, that would be Foreigner:

-9 top 10 singles
-First four albums at least 5X platinum, the fifth was 3X and the sixth was 1X.
