I don't quite understand why CBs and 18 wheelers took over American culture for a brief moment, but this went to #1 on the pop and country charts.

I've seen Convoy and this trailer is 100x more entertaining than the actual movie.

Fergie does an excellent cover of Barracuda by Heart!!

Fergie - Barracuda Live With Slash and Miles Kennedy

Sounds good even though video was taken with a potato phone.

Surely you mean 80's pop Chicago, right?

Pick any Coldplay song.

Parachutes and A Rush of Blood are good albums, it was after that they turned into arena rock U2 wannabes.

The Lemon Pipers, "Green Tambourine" No. 1 on the charts; 1968. Listen and you can see why so many people hate hippies:

Mambo #5

This song was beat to death in bars and clubs. And this was the time I was single and just started my first grown up job, so I was hitting bars a lot.

I'm going to allow Aqua - Aquarium, but I'll just respond by saying, I've heard that song once or twice (it's awful) - on the other hand, another song of theirs - something called "Barbie Girl" - despite my hating the very essence of the song, I've certainly heard hundreds of times.

"Yummy, Yummy, Yummy"--Ohio Express, 1968.
I think the Metallica record title "Kill 'em All" was in response to this band and this song.

I generally don't mind Gwen Stefani, but the B-A-N-A-N-A-S song is up there.

I cry foul on this. "Ring My Bell" is a great song, and Anita Ward was hot back in the day.

The other two are novelty songs and shouldn't be taken too seriously.

The most memorable thing about this is that he picked Rita, Tina and Sandra as three of the hot girl names
