They expire in 2020

The live nation website says something about 2017

quote:

ETA: Also Ticketmaster agreed to provide $5 million in ticket vouchers for select Live Nation concerts through May 2017, subject to availability and a cap of 17 claims per account. Given the tremendous initial interest for these tickets, Ticketmaster will increase to $10 million its allotment of tickets made available through May 2017. The potential for additional tickets will be based on the redemption rates of the discount and UPS vouchers.

So Im guess the more tickets / better shows come after 2017.

interesting, I didn't realize there were a certain amount of vouchers per given show.

I assumed that all the shows on their "list" were eligible.

i think they are all eligible but there seems to be some lag in updating when an allotment fills.

id guess after the initial rush of this week itll mellow out on that front some.

Damn all the shows in Mountain View, Ca are taken. Good list of shows too.

May catch Blink 182, when I go the Saints game in San Diego.

Was hoping Beatles Fest was going to be on there but it's one of the only shows not listed at HOB

I hadn't really looked at the HOB and champions square full schedules til today. Amazed by how thin the venues were even outside this

Looks like all the 700 shows offered are already sold out. Clearly will be adding more shows.

Funny, I only know one person that has used a voucher.

Is there a way to get notified when they release tickets available for vouchers? Or do I just have to keep checking the site?

I have 16 vouchers!

I checked, I didn't see a notification system.

Some good shows in Houston and Dallas were gobbled up immediately.

So I got an email from livenation asking if I was still interested in Weezer. Yesterday when I tried a bunch of shows one was Weezer at some place in California in July. I thought hmmmm myabe the bugs are worked out. So I go back on there, they do have lawn available (which yesterday they didn't), select the lawn seats, and it lets me put in alternate paymnet (yesterday it was only giving the option of credit card and nothing else). So I input a voucher code and it says "voucher code cannot be redeemed for this event" or something like that.

Not sure why though.

We just got the email about shows you can use your voucher towards, but when we opened the link everything said "vouchers sold out". Is there a trick to getting these tickets?

They also said in that email that tickets will be on sale before they notify you via email.

Basically, if you want to use vouchers for shows, you'll have to constantly check that page for the next few years...

Yes, get lucky as heck that they release a show you like when you are on. They dont give many tickets per show, and then the rest are cover bands. Basically TM is just fricking us in another way.

Just got this message

At this time, the first wave of eligible events has been closed. Please check back periodically for updates.

I got the email from them at 3:34 pm this afternoon. When I checked the list at 3:39, 5 minutes after receiving the email, all 700+ shows were already unavailable...

What a fricking racket.

Stay vigilant! The girlfriend and I have a ton of vouchers to use so we've been watching the site religiously, both of us just pulled 2 sets of pit tickets for Dead & Company in Chula Vista; $349 value for 2, plus free shipping somehow. I don't feel like Ticketmaster has screwed me to the tune of $349, but I'll take it.

I would suggest that people get online now. There are 805 events live. The only problem is Ticketmaster is doing maintenance. If it doesnt take long, then people should get whatever they want.

Yeah it looks like they've made some updates to the site and got their act together (as much as TM is able to I suppose). I was finally able to get 4 tickets using the free vouchers. I'll keep looking for others.

I'd love to go see El Ten Eleven, but the show listed for them is in Philly.
