Went to their concert in NOLA a few months ago and really didn't know many of their songs but since have been trying to listen to more. I know a few of the big ones but any suggestions?

Listen to Appetite for Destruction all the way through

Then listen to Use Your Illusion I & II all the way through. Not a dull moment in the catalogue.

Huge hits that everyone knows -
Welcome to the Jungle
Paradise City
Sweet Child
November Rain
Knockin On Heaven's Door
Slightly Less Popular but still hits -
Mr. Brownstone
Patience
Don't Cry
Civil War
Estranged
Nightrain
Rocket Queen
Yesterday's
Songs that just flat out rock -
You Could Be Mine (my personal favorite)
Dust N Bones
Bad Obsession
Coma
My Michelle
The Garden
Bad Apples
Out Ta Get Me
If you want to get into them, just buy Appetite and Use Your Illusion I & II. Theyre all great albums.
Check out Slash's Snakepit and his Conspirators work with Myles Kennedy as well if you dig GNR.

Coma
My Michelle
Locomotive
Estranged
Breakdown
There are many great ones, but those are my favorites. Coma is one of the best songs written by ANY band.

Can't go wrong with Appetite - required listening up and down.
Almost the same story with the illusions, only you can drop:
My World
Coma
Bad Obsession
Double Talkin' Jive
Back Off Bitch
Literally everything else is great on those 2. Best is Estranged, followed by Locomotive and Don't Damn Me.
Then pull up their version of Sympathy for the Devil from the vampire movie.
Spaghetti Incident has good stuff too, ditto Lies.

I really enjoy Lies from start to finish, especially the 4 acoustic on the back end.

But press stop before "My World" starts.

Listen to "One in a million" in a crowded diverse room.
