I'm still at "No Izzy, no care" - especially with neither Adler nor Sorum on the kit - so we're at 3/5 of either classic lineup - at best. But, I'm happy they're able to get through the shows - currently.

I'm watching with morbid curiosity to see if they can get through this initial run - maybe Izzy is, too, staying above it until the time is right.

Can't wait to see them in Nola. Are they just performing by themselves or is somebody opening for them?

Alice in Chains is opening up the first shows in April. After that, no one is really sure yet.

Adler's silence says a lot especially since he has been the most vocal about a reunion needing to happen. There were some reports that he was actually practicing with the band in some fashion, but hurt his back and recently had to have surgery. Izzy remains a mystery. If the reports of Adler being back in some capacity are true, you would think Izzy would be a possibility too.

There's a rumor that GNR couldn't come to terms with Izzy. Nothing confirmed, though. Not sure if Izzy even wants to get involved since he's very low-key these days. He didn't even show up for the HOF induction.

"These days"? Izzy has been low-key for a long time, but I get what you're saying.

He was against having a vocalist for Velvet Revolver, call it PTSD (post-traumatic singer disorder), and when overruled, he ultimately walked rather than participate. But, he seemed to have reconciled - at least reconciled enough - with Axl that there should be no hard feelings (unlike potential hard feelings between Axl and Adler). However, "no hard feelings" and "touring with this a-hole for a year or 2 if successful" may be 2 entirely different calculations for Izzy.

Izzy has been anything but low key lately. He opened a Twitter account a few weeks ago and has been tweeting a good bit. He's even uploaded a couple videos of himself playing acoustic guitar. Very curious for a guy who has been a recluse for 20 plus years to suddenly pop up just as a classic lineup of GnR emerges.

Eddie Trunk had mentioned on his podcast a few weeks ago that Izzy was asked about the GNR reunion and he responded by saying he was not going to be involved with the Vegas shows and then wouldn't comment about his involvement beyond that.
