Lineup just announced today for the Austin festival that isn't ACL or SXSW. Anyone else plan on attending? I'm pretty excited for the lineup. Just got back from Sasquatch last weekend and would go to see Chromeo, Schoolboy Q, and Gogol Bordello again. Also, Wu-Tang, Jane's Addiction and CHEAP TRICK!

Dag Nasty is getting back together for one show and it's in Austin. That makes precisely zero sense.

Seeing Jane's play Ritual...

Ride (the 2nd greatest shoegaze band of all time)...

Venom doing one U.S. gig and this is it...

Fuzz performing "Preacher" live...

Babes in F'ing Toyland...

and Skinny Puppy to tear a hole into the Earth...

Holy Bucket List, Batman.

Wu Tang would have had me a lot more excited 10 years ago. Not sure I care anymore.

wu tang sucks live.

Solid lineup. since our planned festival was cancelled this year, we are looking for a makeup. This looks good, and we have free space to stay in austin.

You forgot Austin Psych Fest/Levitation.

And if you haven't read this review/writeup about that festival, you owe it to yourself to do so. Epic Hunter S. Thompson like story.

That's sort of the point of FFF. They have several stages, each devoted to a certain genre. The black stage is for punk and metal. I spend most of my time there (Orange is just for "mainstream" indie rock and the headliners).

Actually, I usually chill in the comedy tent, and you get sound bleed from the Orange Stage. It works nicely. You can see Patton Oswalt with Kurt Vile playing in the background!
