I will never understand the idea of sad or depressing "drinking songs." If I'm down, I'm sure as shite getting drunk but it won't be sitting in my house listening to even further mood crushing music. That said, I do enjoy some Bill Withers

Endless list. I love old school sad songs.

Whiskey lullaby, chiseled in stone, the walk, in my arms instead, the grand tour, I'll think of something, riding for a fall, if drinking don't kill me, if you think you're lonely, do you believe me now, baby's gotten good at goodbye, I can still make Cheyenne

Off the top of my head.

Greatest song title ever.

Unless you are a stripper... Or love one (as in she's family).

Fade to Black.. Metallica. It is sad and awesome.

Pearl Jam, "Black" has become less depressing over the years. More of a drunk "I'm gonna sing and embarrass my wife" song. If I have had the perfect amount of beer I REALLY think I sound good.

Coonass music!!! "Hey. Hey. Mom" I'll not embarrass by trying to spell anything correctly. Hell I dont know if that is the actual song title. Any wedding in the motherland where a groom dances with his mother to that... Gonna get dusty in the room.
