I don't much care for "dancing in the streets" as a song, let alone a cover. But tge version from 5/8/77 is great.

That said, scarlet>Fire from the previous night is my all time favorite. Frankly, tgat whole second set is arguably the greatest of the Grateful Dead from my ears

Off the top of my head, the inaugural Terrapin comes to mind (2.26.77). Next thing that comes to mind would be the '89 Alpine Music Never Stopped (7.17.89). Definitely an all-timer for me.

Honorable Mention: 10.9.89 Throwin' Stones

Any of the Scarlet>Fire's where Donna goes off. Her solos are so sick.

I don't know specific dates, but I've always liked Scarlet>Fire, any Terrain, and I absolutely love the outro guitar on China Doll. One of the Dick's Picks has a fantastic one from Winterland, I think 77 or 79.

10-9-89 post-drums/space - Death Don't Have No Mercy > Dear Mr. Fantasy > Throwing Stones > Good Lovin with a goddamn Attics encore

The death don't and Mr. Fantasy solos are sick, Brent and Jerry are both on fire, Brent and Bobby swap vocals on Good Lovin

Do yourselves a favor and listen
LINK I forgot to add
1st set Row Jimmy is my favorite Row Jimmy too.

The pinnacle of the Brent era right here in one set

That whole show is straight heat. I'm partial to St. Stephen > Not Fade Away > St. Stephen.

The jam I find myself listening to more often than others is 10.29.77 Sugar Magnolia.

All good choices on here...but most are pretty obvious ones. here is a set that I go back to just over and over. It kills from beginning to end. If you haven't listened check it out. Epic Morning Dew
