I went to Defqon 1 last year in Aussie and that shite was insane. I know Q-Dance will have a stage at EDC and can't wait. What are your thoughts on hardstyle?

I love EDM, but I don't think in terms of sub-genres , and I never discuss them. Not trying to be a dick, but I just find the discussions lack utility and inspire confusion.

But feel free to link me some tracks, and I'll tell you if I like them.

I like it, but don't think I would be into a whole night of it. Headhunterz, Organ Donors, and Adrenalize are all good. I'm still not sure about how it will catch on in the US. The also high tempo drum & bass really hasn't, so I'm leaning towards no.

ETA: By "catch on" I mean to the level of other EDM genres. It will still have it's followers here to some degree.

Even if you absolutely DESPISE EDM, I would still recommend going to a rave/EDM-fest. If candy raver girls don't make it move, then you're either gay or dead.

its just not my thing and it all sounds the same, just has that dark feeling to it. At nature one all the hard style was in the under ground bunkers and the shite was fricking loud and the germans loved it

Sounds like a more repetitive form of house music.

Not my style
