Dan the Automator made both Deltron and Dr Octagon. His greatness should be mentioned since he's driving those beats on those 2 albums, which most of us would consider their greatest.
I don't dislike anyone mentioned in the thread yet. Leak Bros was an insane album.. The whole concept of it.. Back when Cage rapped....
I'm not sure what's considered "alt rap", but MF Doom is the answer if falls under that genre. Judging by his whole body of work..

Del kinda sucks without dan the automator. Deltron 3030 was by far the best live hip hop show I have ever seen. It was amazingly well done.
