Wife is making me take her to the Tuscaloosa stop. Haven't seen Dave in 15 years. I imagine the crowd is terrible. May have to find some fungus.

We've been to the Pelham shows the past two years. The crowd is definitely older now and not as rowdy. There were some drunk frat guys behind us two years ago but one of them passed out and the others tried to carry him to the first aid station.

I'm hoping that since school is out for the summer there won't be as many of the d bags there.

Cool. Maybe it won't be that bad. Last time I saw them was at Oak Mt around 97 or 98 and the drunk high schoolers were out of control and were annoying.

Was fire. The Maker cover was actually pretty cool as well.

That was my first Phish tour. Ahhh the good old days. The show in the Oxford, MS parking lot two days before was pretty entertaining as well. Coincided with the Ole Miss Homecoming. Fishman wore his mumu and a tiara and they named him homecoming queen at the show.

First time I saw them was 99. I was a senior in HS and then again that summer after graduation. Saw them off an on for years throughout college and a couple of times after before my daughter was born. Then they came back to Pelham two years ago when my wife was pregnant again, and again last year. Her cousin, who just turned 40, is a big fan as well and he came to that show with us. We were all laughing and saying that the crowd has aged as well. There were folks in their mid 40s who were there with their HS aged kids. Definitely not the drunk HS and frat boy crowd from 10 years ago.

We're still up in the air about getting tickets. Especially since it is a weeknight and we have to drive to Tuscaloosa for it. Someone has to watch the kids for us, and getting back so late probably means them spending the night. Last year was a Friday night, and I think the year before was on a Saturday. I remember going to eat wings before with my wife and the semifinals of the NCAA tournament was on.

Haha, first time I saw them was at The Tusk in Tuscaloosa around 92 or 93. They played the old Riverside Amphitheater in Tuscaloosa around that same time. Loved them back then, but my interest has waned over the years. I don't think I've listened to any of their new stuff since Before These Crowded Streets.

Wife and I will probably send the kids to her mom's or brother's house and just take the day after off from work and stay in Tuscaloosa.

jesus christ

I have seen BROs playing guitar in the lots at shows, but never a 'full band'

I was more referring to the BROs in jerseys with backpacks and the young sloots that run around drinking smirnoff and singing his radio hits. Those I can't stand.

Luckily I sit inside and don't have to deal with that bullshite anymore

I think most feel the same way. Shell of their former self. I wonder how much longer they will tour. Crowds were not very good in Dallas and Hartford last year. I usually hit up SPAC and that sells out but I think that's becoming more of the exception rather than the rule

The Tuscaloosa show will probably sell out within minutes of tickets going on sale, but the venue is pretty small and he hasn't played there in 20 years.

Yeah I looked at their website. Something like 7,500 seats. I have the warehouse for tickets though.

I think I'm gonna catch Woodlands again this year. Would love to check out one of the other southern venues, but they all fall right in the middle of the week.

I will say this is the most love the South has gotten in a DMB tour in a long time.
