Agreed. I don't like synthesizers so having a synth as the lead much of the time is very grating to me.

Yeah, I never really got into what I consider the harder classic rock like Zep, Stones, Floyd, Doors (I realize that many people would consider those last two more laid back), but always loved Steely Dan, Eagles, and other mellow artists.

I absolutely hate Queen and every song they've ever done. Freddie Mercurys voice makes me want to kick puppies.

I like this thread. I love a good lead vocalist but one that sounds like that.
Although from that list I don't mind Journey, Boston and Rush.
Never got the love for Zeppelin so sue me...
