I don't know how the dude isn't a huge name.

He is damned near the perfect songwriter.

He is a huge name inside that scene.

Now why he isn't a big name on the mainstream level well that should be obvious

His live shows are great, somehow fit his entire band into the Red Dragon a couple of years ago.

This....but Down the River is the first one I heard and I was hooked....love the song

He is playing the Dosey Doe in Woodlands area this coming week, really want to go see it, but doubt I'll be able to.

If the song where "Down by the River in my Truck" and about losing a Bass Tournament rather than a brother it may be more popular.

Framed was the first one I heard, followed shortly by every damn song in his catalog
