I don’t think I’m part of his demographic but I’ve always enjoyed him. Met him at a bar in Houston after his concert about six years ago

I like his rap and love Redbone, and this song is growing on me. It's ok not to be into this sort of thing, but I don't really get critiquing it based on just not liking the genre.

he performed it on SNL and i have to say thats the worst song ive heard in a long time. Its more like spoken word.

Disagree. It was basically like a spoken word slam poem mixed with friendos packaged as some bold political statement. To me, it just wasn’t an entertaining song. I liked Redbone because I like Bootsie Collins, which is what it was.

The video makes this song 100 percent. I made the mistake of checking it out on Spotify first, actually didn't dig it that much, watched the video and was mind-blown.
