I'll get some hate for this, but Mayer is a top 3 overall artist to me as far as my listens. There's plenty of diversity in his music, and I never get bored with it.

Don't listen to the hate. He's makes great music. He just slipped my mind, or I would have put him in my honorable mention.

It's impossible to put them in order, but I think my Top 10 would be:

Matt Nathanson
The Dirty River Boys
Turnpike Troubadours
Randy Rogers Band
Queen
Band of Horses
Arcade Fire
Fleetwood Mac
Guster
Styx
Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers

Okay, my Top 11 instead.

Bands/singers, not necessarily in this particular order:

Grateful Dead
Dire Straits
Allman Brothers
Led Zeppelin
CCR
Rolling Stones
Pink Floyd
Johnny Cash
Eric Clapton
Fleetwood Mac

Honorable mentions go to the bands I'm feeling at the moment. Right now I've been getting more into John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers and Bob Dylan

The Ramones
REM
The Connells
The Cars
Steely Dan
X
Hoodoo Gurus
Husker Du
Fleetwood Mac

wow...Alxtgr, we have similar taste. I can't name a top 10 but here are a few that will never be bumped out of my top 10.

REM
The Ramones
The Doors
The Beatles
Sixteen Horsepower
Pixies
Waylon Jennings

That leaves 3 remaining spots that I can't decide.

Never heard of Sixteen Horsepower, but love the Pixies and Waylon. He's my favorite in country.

My list honestly runs pretty close to what I listen to most frequently on my iPod. Never got to see the Replacements or Led Zep in concert but I've seen the other 8 at least once each.
