Am I correct that they are one of the best bands of the late 90s? Or are they just a guilty pleasure of mine?

Best bands? No
Most popular? Yes
Most fun? Subjective

I like them a lot though.

OP said "one of the", so put that in front of all my lines

First question is hell no. The second question is that it probably is, which is absolutely fine. I liked Blink 182 as well, especially growing up in the 90s, but to say they were the best 90s band would not be correct.

Me too. They're not great by any definition of the word, but they wrote fun, catchy music and were incredibly successful doing so up until their drummer Travis Barker almost died in that plane crash. Their comeback album is ok, but without Tom Delonge, it's just not Blink 182.

This. He's crazy as hell, but he's a great songwriter/musician.

Yeah, that Sum 41 joke was old when Family Guy told it 10 years ago.

Love blink to the this day

I really miss Tom though. Saw them last month and I miss the back and forth and messing around. Plus he's a better singer

I did like the new album though

Accidentally saw them at The Final Four music fest in Phoenix last month - free. They just didn't do it for me.

They were one of my favorite bands, but not in discussion for the best.
