I mentioned Brian earlier. While he was a musical genius, he needed to get cleaned up because from late '67-'69, he didn't contribute much. His last great performance was the slide on "No Expectations". Wish he would've got his act together because I bet he and Hendrix would have done something - they were great friends.
With that said, I love the Mick Taylor era. The run from '69 to '74 is their high watermark IMO.

Shannon Hoon for me as far as biggest loss while I was currently listening. That was a major bummer when he died. Other than Shannon my top 5 people who died with the most left to give inpo:
