Echostage -- DC
930 Club -- DC
U Street Music Hall -- DC

All of the above are hybrid club/venue, but whatever. I like em.

And I gotta give a shout-out to a club that is no longer, but that really got me into EDM
Fiction -- Knoxville, circa 2001

Also, there was this club I went to in Prague that was awesome, but I can't recall the name.

I saw Mat Zo saturday at Ministry of Sound. AN21 and Max Vangeli headlined that night with an almost 4 hour set, it was pretty fricking sick.

I think 930 club is the best music venue in the country, and maybe the world. And I'm defining the greatness of music venues in terms of the ratio of the quality of acts and the capacity of the venue. 930 club holds, what, a thousand people?

And I've seen:
Kings of Leon
Passion Pit
Foster The People
Fun.
the xx
Mos Def
Kid Cudi
Big Boi
Snoop
Wiz Khalifa
B.o.B
Stars
Grouplove
Neon Trees
Bloc Party
Temper Trap
Animal Collective
O.A.R.
Dr. Dog
New Pornographers
Matisyahu
Drive by truckers
Deadmau5
Ghostland observatory
Lotus
Goodie Mob
Afghan Whigs
Angels and Airwaves
Better Than Ezra
The Roots

Off the top of my head.

This is a good one. I haven't been, but I have a friend who has gone several times and speaks highly.

was a club in vegas that had bunk beds and bean bags upstairs and a huge dancefloor w/ cages and chairs that rolled around downstairs. a new club called Light, that is hosted by cirque de soliel looks cool there. the music is barforama tho. could be right up some of you's alley.

would much rather an underground club w/ minimal lighting, a bone shaking system, and people dancing (not standing around looking at each other or jumping up and down).

ministry of sound was just that, fricking amazing. Seeing dj's like Mat Zo AN21 and Max Vangeeli is apparently just a normal saturday there. I still need to head to vegas though

XS(Calvin Harris)- Vegas
Marquee- Vegas
Aura- Bahamas

I've been to Squid row, but that was just a wild time not like a nice night club.

I'm sure there are some others I can't think of now these were just the most recent ones that I remember being cool.

Squid Row is a fun one... but I prefer to chill at The Office when I'm down there.

Space - Miami
Stark Club/Area 51 - Dallas (late 90s/early 2000s)
