So I decided to check out The Hotelier on a road trip to see my folks for July 4.... Must have listened to their new album about 5 times all the way through. It will probably be on my top 10 list for the year. It's a damn good record.

That album cover has almost gotten me fired from work a few times.

I haven't even listened to the record, but seeing it pop up on some sites has been pretty harrowing.

Its been mentioned previously, but Band of Horses new album is great.

Also like Chance the Rapper as far as rap albums go

Thanks! This is a great idea! You should make it collborative so that anyone can add to it.

Lumineers
Chance the Rapper
Eric Prydz

These are the only three for me that stand out thus far. But, to be fair, I'm not nearly as deep into my album-listening as I was, say, last year.

Good idea, just made it collaborative. Is there anything else I need to do to allow people to edit?

Gotta add another.

Michael Kiwanuka - Love & Hate

Very, very good. And the opening song will easily be one of the best songs this year. It's a 10 minute masterpiece. Whole album is good, though.

Cold Little Heart Pink Floyd meets Bill Withers type of vibe goin on. This song is massive.

I also gave the hotelier album a full listen. Good stuff.
