went to ACL in '03 (LSU NC year)... watched LSU v UGA on a Sony watchman, while also watching the DBTs...
Mauck hit Skylar Green in the back of the end zone with a minute in change left for the win and I went nuts... it was kinda awkward..

I haven't been a few years and I kind of want to have my "last" ACL. This is it. Going for the 'Mats and Outkast, basically. I doubt I'll go to another ACL and just stick with FFF in the future, but I reeeeeeeally wanna see the Mats. Good for my final trip to Zilker.

I do wish there was more there for old, angry former punk rockers. Too many indie bands are just a bunch of pussies these days. There's not enough ear shattering rock n roll on the lineup, though I'm happy to see Gaslight Anthem on the bill. They are pretty much a straight rock band. But there's almost no punk or postpunk. What? Couldn't throw 1000 bucks at Archers of Loaf?
