FYI for vinyl collectors, Blind Melon Soup is being repressed / reissued. This is one album I've always wanted to own on vinyl, but it's been long out of press and what is available sells for hundreds of dollars. Get it now before it's gone!

Man, thanks for that info. I have also been waiting years for them to do this one. Soup is top 10 all time for me!

Been busy and traveling a good bit...haven't been playing many records lately.

Should be back in the mix in a couple weeks...

I replaced all 8 of the 12AX7 tubes in the pre amp this morning. I do this every year about this time as they go bad with 8000+ hours on them.

I am always pleasantly surprised when I do this. They degrade gradually over the course of the year, and I tend not to notice how bad they have gotten until I put the new ones in...everything I play has a vibrant life to it that was missing the last couple months!

Rush "Exit...Stage Left", 2015 reissue

A little live Rush, worth the price of admission alone for Neil Peart's drum solo in "YYZ".

One of my guilty pleasures...

Lionel Richie--"The Definitive Collection"...UTV Records CD...2003

The only tune missing from this CD that I really like is "Lady" from the Commodores era...

Every couple of years I get on an REM kick and pull out the entire CD library and go through it for a couple days.

I am partial to Dead Letter and Green...

...and when I play Crush with Eyeliner, I use up every last one of the 1000 watts in the system--it is a song to be played LOUD!

Crush is definitely a track that deserves to go to 11...

I jam Murmur and the individual albums digitally, but before I even had the turntable I bought Eponymous. It's a nice sprinkling of hits, one-stop shopping. Love Gardening & Rockville, but Fall on Me might be tops for me.

I actually have 2 copies of this record (thought one was only "in the cart"...not the case ). If anyone's interested in one, feel free to chime in.

Anyway, once again to you and all the good folks in this thread...thanks for being welcoming and the opposite of judgmental.
