Just noticed on Tipitina's calendar that Anders is doing a show on Feb 13, the Friday before Fat Tuesday. Just an FYI because I don't see it listed on the tour schedule on his website.

Are you kidding me mon? I fricking loved that feedback jam he put together. It got weird fast. What a curveball after that funky Big Chief opener. Anders and Carl mastered the distorted tension and topped it with a peaking release. I really enjoyed it. Overall it was the best Anders show I've seen in a while. I think the new album sessions and presence of Sonny really rejuvenated the band. Can't wait to see what NMO will be like

What is it like?
I saw some snapchats and it seemed more like the album that was just released more than it did the Anders+Luther tour in fall 2011. I saw plenty of acoustic. Did they rock out electrically?
