90s Edition: Worst Song from a Great Band & Best Song from a Terrible Band.

Fight me, but Green Day's not a terrible band by any means. Especially in the 90's, their output is really solid.

Best band, worst songs, the second half of ReLoad by Metallica has some really generic and bad songs. Slither, Carpe Diem Baby, Low Man's Lyric and Attitude are all songs I don't care to listen to and I love Metallica. Say what you want about Bugs...PJ went for something out there. Metallica just went for generic crap.

Best song from worst band...it's slightly outside the 90's but Bullets by Creed. They were fully into the overdone stuff that was inspiring worse knockoffs by then, but Bullets is a legit song.

All songs I absolutely hate, by bands I generally like (all have their shortcomings, of course)

"Bugs" ain't even the worst song on that album. "Stupidmop" is every bit as grating a sound collage as "Revolution 9"

I love brothers in arms.



But my best song from worst band is fly, sugar ray.


I like that song and video but they suck.







The other I really don’t know. Maybe something from nirvana? Not all of their stuff I like and many consider them a great band. I mean they really were a cultural phenomenon of the 90s. Never mind is great, but don’t recall liking anything from the other albums other than heart shaped box.
