Much respect to y'all: no one counting Hall & Oates as a guilty pleasure.

There is NOTHING to feel guilty about great music...now their music VIDEOS are another matter...

STILL not in R&R HOF...tragic.

She's Gone ('76 tune from a very 80s duo)

80's songs that make me stop whatever I'm doing when I hear them:

Brothers in Arms - Dire Straits
Islands in the Stream - Kenny and Dolly (Don't ask me why)
Crazy for You - Madonna (it was playing when I made out with a girl on my first date)
True Colors - Cyndi Lauper (always loved the rawness of her voice in it)
The Living Years - Mike and the Mechanics
Orange Crush - REM

I feel like a lot of songs mentioned in this thread aren't really guilty pleasures, but maybe that's just my nostalgia speaking since I grew up in the 80's.

The Style Council "My Ever Changing Moods."

Sort on thread to OP, my family was disturbed to learn recently that I know 99% of the songs on the SiriusXM Yacht Rock channel.

I have a bunch of these in a Spotify playlist I call "Pop Music" that is trotted out on occasion.

I never bought any of the records, but MTV drilled it into my brain and made me like it.

Aren't all 80s pop songs basically guilty pleasures? I love them all but I always loved the great 80s soundtrack songs.
