Damn, I'm bummed I missed out on these shows now... 311 is one of my fav bands (look at my screen name). I've seen them 7 times and I thought the last time I saw them they were just meh.... Looked like they were getting old.

That set list in the OP looks like it was an awesome show... Misdirected hostility is prob my fav 311 song!

never forget my first 311 show cuz was also first Incubus show - 12/97 at Centrolplex - Incubus came out and rocked it so hard (right after S.C.I.E.N.C.E was released) and then crappy Sugar Ray played and then 311. Was an awesome night

Did anyone make the Grant St Dancehall show in Lafayette in 2000? That was an awesome one. Last minute show where you paid cover at the door. No opening act. Right before Voodoo Fest. I saw them 6 times that year and it was awesome.

Yes. I got my first taste of Incubus a month and a half before that on their first trip to BR, they opened for 2 skinnee j's and phunk junkeez at the varsity. They were amazing. I knew they were going to make it huge, just sad they got ghey. Brandon's voice is one of my all time favs. sorry thread hijacked.

Agree!! There last good album was imo was Morning View. Terrible after that!

Back on track. I already said it early, but night 2 of that set list looked bad arse! Most of my all time favs were played on 5/8!

The LSU and Saints 311 shirts look sweet too.

Yea after that 311/Incubus show I started going to the Varsity (right when I turned 18) and saw them like 10 times over those next few years; one of the best Varsity shows was when System of a Down opened for them and they rocked out hard and nobody had a clue who they were; but yea that SCIENCE album was so sick - I loved seeing them play those tracks at a small place like the Varsity

Nice, I was at that SOAD show too. I actually met Brandon backstage in 97 at that PJ show and traded email addresses with them and we hung out every time they came to BR or NO. They let me film the January 1999 show, it was Kilmore's Bday, I actually recently took the VHS recording and put it onto DVD. It is a treasure. I still watch it from time to time.

nice yea I was at that Bday show too - that was great singing Happy Bday to him and all; I'm sure you also got autographs at Paradise before their shows; we did that a couple times and walked over to Cane's and ate chicken fingers w/ them one time also - I'd love to see that show you recorded and I see you're also in ATL. cool to email you sometime?
