flaming lips haven't played voodoo in 5 years
they would make sense with that tour gap

Just played Buku Fest in New Orleans, so I doubt they would be at Voodoo.

I wouldn't be surprised. They are the generic festival booking. Meh music but lots of theatrics. Perfect for the masses

they were really good at hangout. by far the most entertaining stage show of the festival.

I think the "wiz" was the best show

Next to Outkast maybe. They were entertaining for sure but that is thanks to their theatrics on stage. That's why they are such a popular grab for festivals

Flaming Lips are cool to see once and terrible every time after that. Coyne talks way too much about politics and I'm pretty sure he sucks his own dick.

Well that's a shame. They were great in gulf shores.

Outkast
Beck
QOTSA

I'd bank on those 3.

I would LOVE for J5 (Word of Mouth tour) with Beat Junkies & Dilated Peoples to perform. We need more good hip hop at Voodoo!

Spot on. They actually get worse every time for me. I left the last show they played in Fayetteville midway through it was so bad.

Luckily Cheese is playing their first night at the exact same time in the tent as Lips are on the Mainstage this year at Waka.

I would probably try to make Voodoo if Outkast is playing, I'd like to see them once on this reunion tour and somewhere in the south preferably

He closed out Voodoo last year. My living room was shaking it was so loud.

Bassnectar tore the house down at Voodoo. Most fun show of the weekend imo, and yea, it was loud as all hell.

I'm really hoping Outkast makes it down here for their reunion tour, though I'll be seeing them in Chicago anyway. QOTSA would bea great addition, and one of these days I will see Muse.
