One of my favorite runs. Had been chasing No Sugar for about three years.

Was my Goodbye to Mikey as I didn't make Larkspur or a few other shows.

Damn such a good time. Super 8 pool for life.

Mikey Postcard opener at Oak Mountain is like a sore dick...you can't beat it!

Eta: 'Til the Medicine Takes was released on this day in 99 as well. Right before the start of my senior year of high school.

One of the most fun weekends of my life. So hot, but didn't care. Spiderman took care of that.

10th row Schools side for that 1st set on 7/28. Best 1st set I ever witnessed.

Spiderman shook us all up pretty good!

I stayed at the KOA the first night, finished my last beer as the sun was coming up, then immediately drove into town and got a hotel room at the Super 8 (well stayed in a buddy's room). Then we proceeded to have the best pool block party you could imagine the rest of the weekend. Hotel>hotel>hotel>lot>show

ah to be young.....

I'm sure we crossed paths. I was at the Super 8 and Comfort Inn pools a few different times over the weekend. Buddy of mine had a tank at the Super 8 pool at 2 in the afternoon that Sunday. Seems I knew folks staying at every hotel in the area that weekend and just bounced around from hotel to hotel all day, then somehow made it back to my apartment each night.

I miss those days.

I was with a bunch of Panicfreaks weirdos. Tanks were also had.

So much good music being played around the pools. Then Super 8 had cops crawling all over it on Sunday morning. Weird weekend.

Yeah, but a lot of the usual suspects are still around in some capacity from the "old board"

I got banned from there for "scalping" tickets to those return shows at the Fox 10 or so years ago. I didn't even have tickets and was just fricking around, but it pissed a bunch of people off I guess.

I still like Kyle though. He's good people. It was the girl moderator that banned me I think.

Houser is DEAD
Jimmy herring has lung cancer
Todd nance was dismissed for drugs and DIABETES
Schools is on the verge of a big mac induced heat attack
Sonny has alzheimer's
That leaves the most terrible member of them all, JB, to carry "the torch"

99 was pretty good too. After one of the shows they started playing Talking Heads Burning Down the House when the show ended and nobody left. Everybody just stayed put jamming with lights on.
