P.S.

The designation of what list you are on has nothing to do with the quality of movie you are in. Or what your billing is. Its about your celebrity status. "An A list celebrity". frick Kim Kardashian is an A list celebrity and isnt even an actor. Bill Paxton is pretty damn famous.

Would Will Patton be considered B-list? If so him.

I don't think soft porn merits the B list.

It's a great topic. I can see their faces, but I don't know their names.

Is a B lister a character actor in A list movies? Or the lead in a B movie?

He's like the journeyman backup QB of actors.

Just to be clear... A-listers make 10x that

And B-listers get nowhere near the amount of money or notoriety Bill Paxton does. An example of a B-list actor would be someone like Tony Todd or Edward Furlong.

A-listers can also be broken up into distinct categories. One of those categories can be called A-list supporting actors/actresses. These are actors who are rarely cast as the main actor in a film, but find themselves consistently getting cast in substantial supporting roles in blockbuster movies. Bill Paxton and Gary Oldman would be members of this category.

Paxton is a B-lister always has been a B-lister. He has never ever been the most sought after or leading man that all of Hollywood covets his service. He is able to do lead in lower budget movies and support in major movies. So stop.

Pretty sure oldman is very well respected for his acting talents. Bill Paxton isn't. Oldman is like A-/B++
