I liked it better than I thought I would. Bert's not bad. Good production value.

Thank you for the honest assessment. I only know Bert because his friends are hilarious. He is the weak link by far but good on him for capitalizing. Mark Normand is who deserves the publicity

I don’t understand the Bert hate like that but to each their own. He’s just a comedian, not like he’s a serious enough figure that you have to be throwing around insults like that.

Bert is just really oversaturated. He’s on SO MANY podcasts, shows, whatever.

He’s fine though. I find him generally funny.

I actually tried watching this a few weeks ago and I lasted about 20 minutes

Now when it came out in the theater for the first time, I absolutely loved it - thought it was extremely funny back then.. not so much in my age now

Bert's schtick is really hit or miss for me so I could see a movie of him being tiresome.

Another one of Rogan's unfunny bitches. Who actually thought this would be a good idea?

This board has two extreme opposites that both rise to the level of homoerotic love/hate-Henry Cavill on one end of the see-saw, and Bert on the other.

ETA: I think Rogan's bro's are lame including Bert.

I think Mark Normand, Shane Gillis, and Tim Dillon are funny. Bert is okay on podcasts but I don’t like his standup. Segura is funny but he kinda comes off pretentious since he’s become successful. Ari is okay on podcasts but not really someone I seek out for content. My opinion is in context of being a professional comedian. Obviously all are more funny than I am and I respect how difficult it is. I listen to Rohan’s podcast but I don’t care for his comedy. He gets interesting guests and that’s why I keep up with his podcast. I did the same for Marc Maron and I don’t care for him but I haven’t been interested in his guests in a while.

Just dropped on Netflix. Worth it now for sure. It'd probably help if people watched *anything* he'd done before watching The Machine, though. His specials, The Cabin, anything.

The comic podcast group of Rogan, Segura, Von, Bert, Bobby Lee has to be on its last legs by now right? Talking amongst each other can’t be sustainable long term

One of these is the most successful podcast of all-time and got $100 million just to move his podcast to a platform. It's stupid to lump Rogan's podcast in with any other podcast.

I agree. Add Ari Shafir too. Of all of those i think Bert is the least funny. Rogan is the one that told Bert to include the Machine story in his routine.

Mark Normand is a freaking tommy gun. He was on Steve O's pod last week and that dude shoots from the hip.

Can be quite funny in standup, but not every joke works for me.

Shane Gillis

Very funny standup almost every time I see something from him.

Tim Dillon

Can be funny and is good at bringing humor to topical conversations on podcasts

Bert

Not as good as the others in the list when it comes to standup, but not the worst in the world. In my opinion, not worthy of standium tour standup for sure. But hell, people are buying tickets, so my opinion doesn't matter. I can't listen to his solo podcast, but like him with Segura

Segura

Didn't love the last special, but he usually kills me with his standup.

Ari

His last special "Jew" was very, very good. And I wasn't a huge fan before that.

Rogan

Very interesting podcast.....on about the same level as Bert in terms of standup for me.

The movie was awful though. Just felt like they forced a movie out of the story. I wanted to like it. I do listen to these guys a lot and the story is quite funny (the first time I heard it, haha). But it just didn't work for me.

Joe Rogan
Tom Segura (with wife)
Tom Segura (with Bert)
Bert Kreisher
Theo Von
Bobby Lee
Whitney Cummings
Nikki Glazer
Brendan Schaub
Theo Von

“Hey remember that time at The Comedy Store”… this thing is on its last legs.

One person was given a shite ton of money not unlike Sirius burning stacks of money on Howard Stern only for the stock price to go nowhere. Same thing is gonna happen for Spotify and Rogan.
