Yeah, just got done. Starts off with a bang but didn’t land the ending very well.
The daughter stole the show. It’s got one good vintage Nic Cage scene. I get the ending, so that’s not why I didn’t care for it, it was just too vanilla, predictable. Not a complicated movie, easy to follow, but it’s worth a watch. Just don’t expect too much classic Cage.

We watched it 2 weekends ago. I thought it was an enjoyable movie. Not a classic or anything groundbreaking but worth watching.

We did pay the $20 to rent it and that's probably a bit steep for this movie. But it supports an LSU grad so no regrets. It would cost that or more in a theater. I would recommend waiting until it drops to the $5 range.

Without any spoilers I can say I did like the daughter. Especially the "issue" she has and shares with her father. I thought that was a little different than you normally see and that subject is of interest to me. Plus I'm a sucker for any kind of revenge story.

It’s a movie that presumptuous a-hole people will nitpick maybe even shred, but normal people will enjoy. It’s very well produced regardless.

The daughter and Cage interacting is the best part.

Someone like Ben Foster would have been a better villain. The main bad guy just wasn’t a very good actor in this.

Got to watch it tonight. I enjoyed it fully predictable but so are some of the greatest westerns ever made.

Am I the only one that wants to see the rest of Brooke Briggs's story?

Micah,

Just watched your movie. Really enjoyed it. I'm a sucker for modern westerns. Watched it with my parents who are visiting, and they enjoyed it as well. They also love such movies, and I enjoy watching movies with them that we all are into. It made for a nice wind down to the night. Thanks.

Ryan Kiera Armstrong is an excellent little actress. She keeps it up she'll do big things.
