Watched the trailer, it looks pretty good. The daughter seems like a cross between Hailee Steinfeld from True Grit and Julia Butters from Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.

Ryan Kiera Armstrong is really a fantastic actress. She goes toe-to-toe with Cage and holds her own. That's Oscar-winner Nicolas Cage, if I wasn't clear!

Hate to point out a goof, but his false mustache is clearly missing in several scenes!

Will probably see this. After seeing The Unbearable Weight, making a movie with Nick fricking Caaaaaage seems like something that would be a lot of fun.

LOL. I love that mustache. It's only in a short scene from when he was younger. Wish we coulda got a movie with nothing but stache.

MASSIVE TALENT was awesome!

Sold. Will see for sure.

Best of luck in your future endeavors, as much as your interests don't conflict with mine.

Wiki:

In October 2021, the film's crew members complained about property key assistant and armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed's handling of firearms, including an incident in which she discharged a weapon without warning and caused lead actor Nicolas Cage to walk off set.[6] Gutierrez-Reed would later work as armorer on the set of Rust, and be a principal character in the shooting incident that killed Halyna Hutchins and wounded director Joel Souza.

Nicolas Cage

Nic Cage. What can you say?

A highly rated actor and still underrated.

Name his best role, quickly. You can’t because there’s so many good ones and so broad, it doesn’t easily compute.

Just watched Weatherman - what a perfect Cage movie: the plot summary sounds boring but it’s strangely gripping based on Cage’s incredible performance, most notably his mix of vulnerable, pathetic yet with core strength. And every second, authentic.

Favorite movie: I guess Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans.

IMDB shows it hitting theaters on Jan 12th. Just a heads up. If you see it showing sooner, please post it. I’m excited to see this one. Trailer reminded me of Josie Wales.

I just did a search. About 20 sites say Jan 6, one site says Jan 5, and IMDB says Jan 12.

Canal Place in Nasty NOLA has it listed with 3 showings on Jan 6th.

Anyone checked the movie out? It's not doing so hot on IMBD, 5.4. Those rating could be shite, just curious if it was decent or not.

I watched it the other night. Had a few good moments but overall not very good. It’s a shame because I love Cage and I love Westerns.

I question any supposed-movie fan who puts serious stock into IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes rankings. Too many tards either rate movies a 10 because aWeSoMe!!! or a 1 because sUcKs!!! and aren't capable of understanding nuance.

Just saw it.
Good flick, loved Ryan Kiera Armstrong and Noah Le Gros were great.
Well done, Mr. Producer.
Beautiful sets, where was it filmed?
