The odd thing is that both of you come accross as old men and we're all close to the same age.

I recently took a stroll through my X collection and it looks like the Summer of 93 was when I completely quit comics. I couldn't keep up with all the Marvel crossover bullshite and had to start saving money for cool high school stuff like concert tickets and Busch Light beer.

I think we're exactly the same age. Yes, I come by my pretentions honestly. Even when I was 13, I knew when I was being pandered to. It's not so much "elitist" as "knowing when something is f'n terrible."

I think this is about the same time I get heavily into Cerebus and Sandman. That's when I got elitist.

It would make more sense to have a younger actor in older makeup play Cable for action purposes.
