Prince Oberyn Martell was pretty rough, but have to agree with Nicky and Dominic in Casino.

In Ewan McGregor's first film Shallow Grave some violent heroin dealers lock a naked guy in an ice chest ... They then let him out to get information from him.. Once they have the info they desire , they put him back in and leave him there ... Terrible way to die.

Ted Levine burning to death in The Hills Have Eyes remake was pretty horrific.

I know it's been surpassed by now and probly never was all that gruesome. But when I was a kid the way the nazis died at the end of Raiders of the lost ark shocked and stayed with me for quite awhile.

When I saw this thread, I had a sneaking suspicion that OP had watched Bone Tomahawk.

And then I went and searched other bone tomahawk threads on this board and said "yep, figures".

Next Time I read this board before I watch any movie.

I sneakily watched this on vhs when I was 12. That scene dealt a devastating blow to my virginal childhood innocence and sense of wonder.

Leonardo DiCaprio in The Quick and The Dead "I don't want to die...". Quint in Jaws is a great call, I don't know where Robert Shaw pulled that scream from but it was chilling. The SPR mama scene will always be #1 for me, Giovanni Ribisi can absolutely act his arse off

That movie was one of the main catalysts to have a PG-13 rating.

It's not obscene in that the scene actually adds a great deal to the film's integrity. You should watch Casino; everyone should.

What did she do in the deleted scenes?

I'll rephrase: unless there were deleted scenes where she behaved very badly, it was unnecessarily brutal.
