You have to be a prime member which costs $80 a year, but its worth it if you buy five or more things from Amazon in a year. With it you get free Three day shipping and $3 next day shipping on Prime items plus Netflix style movie streaming.

It's only $40 if you're a student and you get 6 months free. I signed up last month and it's already paid for itself.

ETA: Wonder Years is fricking awesome. This is great news.

Bezos is not exaggerating when he says Amazon Prime is about the best value you can get anywhere.

I signed up as a student last year for the $40. I calculated what I would've spent in shipping if I hadn't and it was well over $200.

And when my year was up, I was going to pay the full $80, but they gave me a deal for nothing and I paid $60 this year.

Also, it's free two day shipping for me, so idk if the OP misspoke or lives in the middle of nowhere.

I've been a prime member for years. It's always been free 2-day shipping and $3.99 overnight shipping. LOVE buying huge shite, like a foam mattress or a TV, and getting it the next day for $4.

Yeah it's two day... My bad..

Well worth it IMO.

I have a company and I'm able to give my customers their stuff withing 24 hours cause of Amazon, and they pay for next day shipping, and I pay $3... Love it...

So all FOX & FX shows are going to be streaming for free now? I think this might replace Netflix for me.

I was planning on cancelling streaming on netflix in a month or so, once i finished a few series. This just sealed the deal.

Are there a bunch of movies/shows on there that Netflix doesn't have? That's an awesome deal for students. Gonna check that out tomorrow.

They have a decent selection, but most seem to be the same thing Netflix has, as far as B-movies, foreign films and old movies.

Not many new releases.

Read about this last night..
THis is greta news..Netlix released a statement on March 30th claiming they signed a deal that would bring TWY and Glee to THEIR streaming..That abortion of a show called Glee made it but TWY never did.

Sure hope Amazon gets it..that would be incredible...also Freaks and Geeks would be a great addition as well..I BELIEVE it was a FOX show also
