Movieweb posted a positive review, then had to pull it due to the embargo.

Am I the only person that can't stand Chris Pine in anything?

FIRST LOOK AT ACTION FILM
Trilogy of underwhelming DC Comic films saved by director Patty Jenkins’ new Wonder Woman movie

After a series of disappointing superhero films - Man of Steel, Batman Vs Superman, Suicide Squad - our critic was surprisingly impressed by Gal Gadot's action movie

Let’s get down to brass tacks straight away – Wonder Woman has absolutely saved DC’s a**e here.

After a trilogy of underwhelming and flabby films (Man of Steel, Batman Vs Superman, Suicide Squad), this was surely last chance saloon for them.

Luckily, they deftly took the reigns from Zac Snyder and handed them to Patty Jenkins, the first woman to direct a Superhero film – and it has paid off in spades.

All of this would be completely wasted though, were Gal Gadot not so utterly superb.

Stuckmann gave it a good review, who I think is honest unlike Jeremy Jahns who I think is a compulsive liar and only says what his fans and the advertisers want to hear. So that's a good sign.

You're just mad that he liked Suicide Squad. Don't lie.

Here's your first Rotten Review:

Steve Rose: The Guardian
quote:

But there’s something rather distasteful about co-opting trench warfare as the backdrop to a sanitised, hyper-stylised fantasy. I couldn’t help thinking of Kendall Jenner’s disastrous “protest chic” Pepsi ad. And when Gadot is called upon to communicate the horrors of war moments later, reeling around dazed and confused in a haze of orange poison gas, it’s a moment of Zoolander-esque silliness that brings home how weightless the whole story has become.

Name one controversial movie opinion that Jeremy Jahns has that is different from mainstream nerd culture. Name one. If you're an individual and not a whore, you should have quite a few. There's no way someone has his opinion all the time. Has he ever come out against a critically acclaimed movie and told everyone that you've lost your fricking mind by supporting this? He has no guilty pleasures to speak of or controversial opinions about film. That makes me know he's full of shite.

And by the way, I wasn't a big fan of Suicide Squad, but I thought it mostly worked as a road trip movie despite being total nonsense. I was not one of the Suicide Squad haters on this board, despite my constant bashing of Man of Steel and Batman V Superman. At least Suicide Squad got Harley and Captain Boomerang right. That's forgiveness from my perspective.

Well I agree that Suicide Squad is overblown. But is that all that controversial of an opinion on nerd culture?

Oh by the way, he's a whore that advertises nerd boxes, so he's lost all credibility as a critic. He's only a whore that can be bought off: LINK
