I still think it's funny, some of the new episodes were hilarious. Dennis has kind of gone totally off the deep end.

The first two episodes of the new season had me worried because they were basically spinoffs of previous episodes. I was thinking, oh lord here we go.... But then, the next 8 were pretty decent and I thought a couple of them were some of the funniest they have done. I am sure the show only has 2 or 3 seasons left max, before the ideas are exhausted. Some of your greatest sitcoms only last around 9 or 10 seasons. Unless it is animation, which last for fricking ever.

I went from complete apathy to having to see every episode to being completely and utterly satisfied with HS Reuinion 1&2 last season. I need to get caught up, according to my friends anyway.

Show has definitely ran its course. I still watch it and there are certainly gems from time-to-time, but that's more the exception than the rule. When the show was really hitting its stride it was the opposite.
I think Frank really was the missing element at first, but as the show progressed and the characters completely degenerated into caricatures of themselves (Charlie is the best example of this, went from being not the brightest guy in the world to a complete and utter illiterate retard) the quality started to drop off.

A little nugget of knowledge for those who don't like Danny Devito on the show. FX was going to cancel the show after season 1, before they brought Danny in. He is literally the reason the show is still on the air.

It's the kind of show that I'll stop on if I'm flipping channels and come across it, but I've never made plans to watch it.
