I remember it being played multiple days/nights in past years on either TBS/USA/TNT/FX. I don't think it was on once this Christmas, or did I miss it?

I'm not a huge fan a the movie, but I would have watched it. A Christmas Story, Christmas Vacation, Home Alone all came on multiple times.

I guess I'm used to it showing on the cable channels. It'll probably be back in the regular rotation in May.

I never saw it on regular channels. Home Alone wasn't on ABC Family like it normally was either.

Should have checked AMC because they played the hell out of it.

I searched the guide for it about a week ago and it was only playing on starz, and only 3 times at that

I believe all 3 times were on Christmas Eve, but I was able to get it on demand so we could watch with the kids last weekend

The Ref should be on a loop on one of those channels. I had to pull my DVD out.

It wasn't played on cable this year, Starz must've payed a ton for the rights.

Also, below is a good resource to bookmark for next year, it lists the schedule of all Christmas movies and specials on cable:

The more i see Christmas Vacation the less i like Chevy Chase, not sure why........ Maybe I've grown up... I still love when Aunt Bethany says the pledge of Allegiance at the dinner table

My wife and I thought the same thing. Last year it on seemingly every night. This year, nowhere to be found. Home Alone on the other hand.....

Nonetheless, I was able to catch two of my faves: Christmas Vacation and Trading Places
