Why is "A Knights Tale" not more popular?

This is one of my favorite movies of all time

It's got an A list cast (Heath Ledger, Alan Tudyk, Mark Addy, Paul Brittany to name a few)

Its got great music

It has some grounding in real history or at least historical people (Geoffery Chaucer of course, but Ulrich von Lichenstein and the other knights were real people as well)

It has a great story, likeable characters, awesome pacing, action, love, drama, emotion

Seriously this movie might be in my top 10

Never seen it but the no-talent douche who played the lead was probably the reason it sucked.

I probably should check it out, it did seem cheesy from the ads if I remember correctly. And at the time, nobody took Mr ledger seriously as anything more than a pretty face. Damn shame honestly.

It's a very, very fun movie. The guy that presents Ulrich at the events is hysterical (Jarvis from Iron Man).

And by the way, here's the only reason any straight man needs to like the movie:
